The public is advised that the Head Office of the National Sports Council at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium will be closed on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 for maintenance. The Head Office will reopen on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.

Latonia Blackman has long been a shining example of excellence in Barbadian netball. Our national captain and experienced National Sports Council coach, she earned over 200 caps representing Barbados on the international stage throughout her outstanding career. Known for her leadership, versatility, and dedication to the sport, Blackman continues to inspire young athletes through coaching and mentorship. Her passion for youth development and commitment to national sport make her a deserving feature in the NSC Beacon spotlight.
