The National Sports Council’s Summer Camp 2025 is in full swing and bringing the heat—this time with a new twist. One of the most exciting changes this year is the introduction of a brand-new location at the Ursuline Convent in Collymore Rock, St. Michael, and it’s already proving to be a game changer.

Mr. Christopher Hinds
GROUNDSMAN OF THE YEAR
Mr. Christopher Hinds Mr. Hinds was so outstanding in his preparation of the cricket grounds and pitches that he was selected to undertake preparation of key grounds for the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) and the NSC Herman Griffith Finals. In addition, he also prepared grounds for international fixtures at Kensington Oval, namely the England Series and the Caribbean Premier League. Mr. Hinds also assisted in relaying the pitch at the Farmers ground in St. Thomas during 2024.
